Life MembersLIFE MEMBERSHIP is awarded as a gesture of respect and gratitude in recognition of outstanding contributions to the work or success of FOWA. Life members must have been an “Active” member for a minimum of 10 years. They may be elected by the Association at a general membership meeting by a quorum of those present. Life members are exempt from annual dues. The number of Life members is limited to 10 percent of the individual membership. Election to Life membership in no way deprives the recipient of his/her part in the administration of the affairs of FOWA, including the right to vote on issues and hold office according to FOWA Membership criteria.
